Going onto Cycle 2 for IUI

Hello, I haven't posted on this site for a very long time and was just reminded that I had signed-up. When I first signed up I had been ttc for 4 years without medical help. B4 that we had ttc with medical help for 2 yrs. So in total, I had been ttc for 6 yrs. Last January we started again with medical help and it has been a major roller coaster. However, my faith has grown even more because finding a doctor who really is concerned with helping us have our first baby was a miracle for me. Other doctors always discouraged us by reminding me of my age, I'm past 35, or the issue of my weight, although I am much lighter than I was when I started.
It was disappointing having the first IUI with injects fail but once again I am praying that this second time around helps.

Hi Sal,
Thank you so much. It is not easy going through the second cycle. The first one, I was hopeful and excited that something else was being tried but when it turned into a BFN I got really sad. So beginning with this cycle right away has not allowed me time to begin to get excited yet. I'm still getting over the first one.
Sal, if you have been trying for 6 years has is it all been without medical help? Or have you tried Clomid, or IUI's? I hope you are getting answers as well.

I am happy to announce that today I got a positive hpt! Blood test is tomorrow morning! I am very excited, nervous, anxious, but trying to stay calm. I'm praying that it sticks.

They just called me and it is 88.6. Pretty low for being 15dpiui. I go in for a second beta on Tuesday. I'm staying hopeful.

Btw, I never asked how is your situation?

Well, my husband and I underwent IVF w/ICSI in 2007 and were blessed with a son. We'd like to undergo FET with the remaining embryos sometime this year. We were hoping for January, but our finances wouldn't allow us to do so then. I'm praying that we can do it by the end of the year. Please keep us in prayer.
