At 7:05pm on July 1, 2008, Rachel said…: Hello Lisa!!! Things are going well but as for the pregnancy issue not so well. : ( We've been trying to conceive for over 2 years now too. I went through all my tests last year and met with a fertility doctor in December. Well here everything is fine with me but the issue is with my husband. His analysis showed that his white blood cells were high, so he went on meds in January and had another analysis in February. This one showed that the white blood cells were normal but now the morphology was a problem. The fertility doctor suggested IUI. We decided to give it on our own until the end of August. So if we're not pregnant by then we'll proceed with the IUI. I'm sorry to hear that your IUIs haven't worked out for you. I don't blame you for giving yourself a break. I will keep you in my prayers. Like you said it's God timing and we just have to be patient even though we're soooooo tired of waiting. he! he! But they say good things come to those who wait......maybe we'll be blessed with twins!!! ; ) It's nice to have someone to talk to who is going through the same thing. Take care and keep in touch.

I feel more hopeful and of course, a lot more grateful, but I've had a moment or two where I just felt defeated for one reason or another but I'm here and I know that moments like those will pass with prayer. How are you? I'm sorry for your disappointment but try and remember that everything happens in God's time. And yes, you got your period- you're not pregnant YET but it's a also a sign that your body is working as it should. Think of it as a form of cleansing. Hope you can understand what I mean. I believe that there's is some good in disappointment that we come across. And I believe that for every diappointment, there is an abundance of blessings to come- in His time. Thank you for your prayers, we will be sure to pray for you as well. My husband and I just started trying a few months ago, but with no luck. As all of our close friends and family start trying and get pregnant right away, it is getting a little frustrating, especially when they all make plans to do things with their babies. We want to try for a little over a year before we try fertility meds, we are only 24 and think our troubles might stem from the birth control I was taking, so we will wait and see. We just have to have faith that God will bless us with a baby when he is ready. You have been through so much more than we have and your faith is so strong that I am sure that God will bless you with a healthy, happy child. I will be sure to keep you in all of my prayers, too. Thank you also for being my first friend on this site-it is so comforting to have people to talk to when things don't go as planned.

In answer to your question, no, I haven't had any fertility treatments. I'm praying for a tubal reversal. I have 2 girls- almost 7 and 5 1/2 but had my tubes tied after them because I was in an abusive relationship and I was afraid to get pregnant again. I chose that because I was on the pill when I got pregnant the last time. (obviously, it didn't work for me- the pill, I mean.) But that was a blessing in disguise. Anyway, I've been happilly re-married for the last year and a half and now want a baby with my husband. I'm hoping my tubal can be reversed but even if it can't, I'm praying and believeing for a baby. I truly believe that what is meant to be will find a way one way or another if it's God's Will.
